Copyright & DMCA Policy

Last updated: 8 September 2026

Overview

BeanKupz respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects our members to do the same. This Copyright & DMCA Policy explains how copyright owners can notify us of infringing content on the BeanKupz platform.

We respond to clear notices of alleged copyright infringement in line with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA), 17 U.S.C. § 512, and applicable Australian copyright law.

Designated copyright agent

Our designated copyright agent for notice of alleged infringement is:

Suraj V K — BeanKupz

Email: surajvk007@gmail.com

Please send all takedown notices to the email address above.

Filing a takedown notice

To file a notice of alleged copyright infringement, include the following in writing:

A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or a person authorised to act on their behalf.

Identification of the copyrighted work you believe has been infringed (or, if multiple works, a representative list).

Identification of the allegedly infringing material on BeanKupz and enough information for us to locate it (e.g., a URL or the place/roaster/post title).

Your contact information, including your full name, address, telephone number, and email address.

A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.

A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are authorised to act on behalf of the copyright owner.

Filing a counter-notice

If you believe your content was removed in error or misidentification, you may file a counter-notice including:

Your signature.

Identification of the removed material and the location at which it appeared before removal.

A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification.

Your name, address, telephone number, email address, and a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of a US federal court (or, for Australian matters, an appropriate Australian court).

We will share counter-notices with the original complainant and may restore the content within 10–14 business days unless we receive notice that legal action has been filed.

Repeat infringers

In appropriate circumstances, BeanKupz will terminate the accounts of users who are determined to be repeat infringers of others' copyright.

Good faith and penalties

Under Section 512(f) of the DMCA, any person who knowingly materially misrepresents that material is infringing — or that material was removed by mistake or misidentification — may be liable for damages, including costs and attorney fees. Please ensure your notice is accurate before submitting it.
